SF3015HC Fiber Laser Cutter: Installation and Training in Spain

On November 21, 2024, SENFENG’s after-sales engineer, Sun Ning, traveled to Spain to assist a customer with the installation of the SF3015HC fiber laser cutting machine. The 3kW fiber laser cutter, which is designed for cutting a variety of metal materials, was delivered to the customer’s site for setup and commissioning.

Upon arrival, Sun assisted the customer with the installation of the laser cutter, including the assembly of the bed, laser unit, water cooler, and other components, followed by leveling and sheet metal installation. During the power-up and initial debugging process, Sun identified an issue with the servo motor, which was found to be unpowered due to a CE safety relay malfunction. After re-wiring the system, the equipment was fully operational.

Once the installation was complete, Sun worked with the customer to adjust cutting parameters based on their typical metal materials, dimensions, and sheet thickness. This enabled the customer to easily access preset cutting parameters for future operations.

To ensure smooth operation, Sun designed a three-day customized training program, during which he provided hands-on training to the customer’s technical team. This training covered basic machine operation and maintenance, ensuring that the operators were well-equipped to handle the equipment efficiently.

The customer expressed high satisfaction with Sun’s service: “Sun is a very experienced engineer. In just two days, he had the machine installed and up and running. The customized training plan he provided was incredibly helpful, and now we’re all set to start production. We’re confident this fiber laser cutter will help us secure more orders.”
