Fiber Laser Machines: Training for Technicians of Indian Agent

On December 9, 2024, two technicians from SENFENG’s Indian agent company arrived in Shandong, China, to participate in a two-week training program. SENFENG organized the training to enhance the technical skills of their overseas team, focusing on the maintenance and repair of fiber laser machines, as well as understanding the features and functions of various machines such as laser welding machines, laser cleaning machines, and laser cladding machines.

A significant focus of the training was on the maintenance and repair of the laser source, a core component of the fiber laser cutting machine that determines its cutting performance. On December 11, under the guidance of a senior trainer, the technicians learned essential techniques for laser source maintenance. This practical knowledge will enable the agent company to address equipment issues more efficiently and reduce the likelihood of sending parts back for repairs.

In addition to theoretical training, the technicians gained hands-on experience in repairing the laser source using a fusion machine, ensuring they could apply their new skills to real-world scenarios.

Looking ahead, the technicians are scheduled to study SENFENG’s star product, the laser tube cutting machine, specifically the bevel tube laser cutter and the three-chuck tube laser cutter, on December 12. This training is anticipated to further bolster their capability in handling cutting-edge equipment and providing top-tier service to local customers.

The comprehensive training program will equip these technicians with the expertise needed to address various technical challenges, enhancing the service quality and support provided to Indian customers.
